「国際人権連盟」(FIDH)と「SOSトーチャー」の共同プロジェクトである「人権擁護家保護のための監視機構」は、イランにおける下記の状況に関して皆様の緊急の働きかけをお願いします。
＜事件の概要＞
人権擁護家のための監視機構は、「人権擁護のためのイラン同盟(LDDHI)」から、2007年3月4日にテヘランで平和的な集会が暴力で弾圧され、女性の権利について活動する33人の女性が逮捕されたという情報を入手しました。情報によると、この女性たちはテヘラン革命裁判所の前で2007年3月8日の「国際女性の日」を記念する平和的な集会を開いていたということです。彼女たちはまた、2006年6月の平和的な集会との関連と「百万の署名キャンペーン」への関わりのために起訴された6人の人権擁護家の女性の裁判にも抗議していました。1
逮捕された33人の女性は以下の通りです。アッシエー・アミニ、ジラ・バニヤーグーブ、マフブーベー・アッバスゴーリザデー、マーブーベー・ホセインザデー、サラ・ログマニ、ザラ・アムジャディアン、マルヤム・ホセインカー、ジェルベー・ジャバヘリ、ニルーファー・ゴルカル、パラストウ・ドコウヒ、ゼイナブ・パエガムバルザデー、マルヤム・ミルザ、サガール・ラガイ、カディジェー・モガダム、サギ・ラガイ、ナヒド・ケシャバルズ、マーナズ・モハマディ、ナスリン・アフザリ、タラット・タギニア、ファクリ・シャドファル、マルヤム・シャドファル、エルナズ・アンサリ、ファテメン・ゴバライ、アザデー・ファルガニ、サミイェー・ファリド、ミノウ・モルタジ、サラ・イマニアン。
2007年3月4日に逮捕され、現在テヘラン革命裁判所で起訴されている6人の女性のうち5人は以下の通りです。ナヒド・ジャファリ、スーザン・ターマセビ、パルビン・アルダラン、ノウシン・アフマディ−コーラサニ、シャーラ・エンテサリ。ファリバ・ダボウディ−モハジェルさんはこの事件で6番目に起訴されることになっています。彼女たちの弁護団の一人、シャディ・サドルさんも逮捕されました。
このアピール発表現在、前述の女性全員はエビン刑務所で拘禁されています。監視機構は彼女たちに対する正式な訴状があるという情報は得ていません。
監視機構は彼女たちを恣意的に逮捕したこと、および3月4日の平和的な集会に警察が暴力を行使したことを強く非難します。また、平和的な集会に関連して6人の人権擁護家の女性が起訴されたことも非難します。今回の逮捕事件は、イランで女性の人権擁護家に対する攻撃が増えていることをまたもや示しました。

＜行動要請＞
イラン関係当局に以下の内容の要請をお願いします。
1.いかなる情況にあろうとも、上記の女性たちの心身の安全を保障すること。
2．彼女たちの拘留は恣意的なため、全員を即時無条件で釈放すること。
3．ナヒド・ジャファリさん、スーザン・ターマセビさん、パルビン・アルダランさん、ノウシン・アフマディ−コーラサニさん、シャーラ・エンテサリさん、そしてファリバ・ダボウディ−モハジェルさんに対する恣意的な嫌疑をすべて取り下げること。
4．イランの人権擁護活動家に対する嫌がらせの行為に終止符を打つこと。
5．1998年12月9日に国連総会が採択した人権擁護家に関する国連宣言の条文、とりわけ、「人権と基本的自由の保護および伸張のために、すべての人は、個人的にあるいは他の人々と協力して、国内あるいは国際レベルで平和的に集まる権利を有する」とした第5条aと、「すべての人は、個人あるいはその他の人々と共に、政府機関や組織および公共業務に関係している機関に、それらの機能を向上させるための批判や提案を出したり、人権および基本的自由の促進、保護および実現を妨げたり遅らせるようなそれらの業務活動に対して注意を惹きつける権利を有する」とした第8条2項に従うこと。
6．いかなる情況にあろうとも、国際人権基準およびイランが批准した国際文書に基づき、国内全土における人権尊重と基本的自由を保障すること。

I am writing you to express my concern over the arrest of 33 women in Teheran on March 4, while they were in a peaceful gathering. I would like to urge you the following:
1. To guarantee in all circumstances the physical and psychological integrity of all these 33 women;
2. To release them immediately and unconditionally since their detention is arbitrary;
3. To drop all arbitrary charges against Ms. Nahid Jafari, Ms. Sousan Tahmasebi, Ms. Parvin Ardalan, Ms. Noushin Ahmadi-Khorasani, Ms. Shahla Entesari, and Ms. Fariba Davoudi-Mohajer;
iv.Put an end to all acts of harassment against human rights defenders in Iran;
4. To conform with the provisions of the UN Declaration on Human Rights Defenders, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 9, 1998, especially its Article 5a, which states that “for the purpose of promoting and protecting human rights and fundamental freedoms, everyone has the right, individually and in association with others, at the national and international levels, to meet peacefully” and Article 8(2), which provides that “everyone has the right, individually and in association with others, to submit to governmental bodies and agencies and organisations concerned with public affairs criticism and proposals for improving their functioning and to draw attention to any aspect of their work that may hinder or impede the promotion, protection and realisation of human rights and fundamental freedoms”;
5. To ensure in all circumstances respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms in accordance with international human rights standards and international instruments ratified by Iran.

The Observatory for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders, a joint programme of the World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT) and the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), requests your urgent intervention in the following situation in Iran.
Brief description of the situation:
The Observatory has been informed by the League for the Defence of Human Rights in Iran (LDDHI) of the violent repression of a peaceful gathering and the arrest of 33 women rights activists in Tehran on March 4, 2007.
According to the information received, these women were peacefully gathering in the front of the Tehran Revolutionary Court to mark International Women’s Day, which will be celebrated on March 8, 2007. They were also protesting against the trials of six women human rights defenders who are prosecuted in connection with their participation in a peaceful assembly in June 2006, and with their involvement in the “One million signatures” campaign .
The 33 women who were arrested include Ms. Assieh Amini; Ms. Gila Baniyaaghoub; Ms. Mahboubeh Abbasgholizadeh; Ms. Mahboubeh Hosseinzadeh; Ms. Sara Loghmani; Ms. Zara Amjadian; Ms. Maryam Hosseinkhah; Ms. Jelveh Javaheri; Ms. Niloufar Golkar; Ms. Parastou Dokouhi; Ms. Zeynab Peyghambarzadeh; Ms. Maryam Mirza; Ms. Saghar Laghai; Ms. Khadijeh Moghadam; Ms. Saghi Laghai; Ms. Nahid Keshavarz; Ms. Mahnaz Mohamadi; Ms. Nasrin Afzali; Ms. Talat Taghinia; Ms. Fakhri Shadfar; Ms. Maryam Shadfar; Ms. Elnaz Ansari; Ms. Fatemenh Govarai; Ms. Azadeh Frghani; Ms. Samiyeh Farid; Ms. Minou Mortazi and Ms. Sara Imanian.
Five of the six women currently prosecuted before the Tehran Revolutionary Court were amongst those arrested on March 4, 2007: Ms. Nahid Jafari; Ms. Sousan Tahmasebi; Ms. Parvin Ardalan; Ms. Noushin Ahmadi-Khorasani and Ms. Shahla Entesari. Ms. Fariba Davoudi-Mohajer is the sixth woman to be prosecuted in this case. One of their lawyers, Ms. Shadi Sadr has also been arrested.
As of issuing this urgent appeal, all above-mentioned women remain allegedly detained at Evin prison. The Observatory has received no indication on the existence of official charges against them.
The Observatory strongly condemns the arbitrary detention of these women, as well as the violence perpetrated by the police against the participants at the peaceful gathering on March 4. The Observatory also condemns the prosecution of the six women rights defenders in connection with their peaceful demonstrations. This new wave of arrests demonstrates once more the increasing attacks on women human rights defenders in Iran.
Actions required:
Please write to the Iranian authorities and ask them to:
i. Guarantee in all circumstances the physical and psychological integrity of all above-mentioned women;
ii. Release them immediately and unconditionally since their detention is arbitrary;
iii. Drop all arbitrary charges against Ms. Nahid Jafari, Ms. Sousan Tahmasebi, Ms. Parvin Ardalan, Ms. Noushin Ahmadi-Khorasani, Ms. Shahla Entesari, and Ms. Fariba Davoudi-Mohajer;
iv.Put an end to all acts of harassment against human rights defenders in Iran;
v.
