The Feudal Class System


Until the end of the early modern age, the feudal class system was the primary framework of society. People of different classes were not allowed to have meals together. People also had to follow official orders that stipulated the types of hair-style, Clothing and shoes that they had to wear according to the class that they belonged to. This picture shows the social stratum with the peasants taking meals on the earth floor.
