Mr. Kazuo Ishikawa's Release on Parole


After being imprisoned for 31 years and 7 months for a crime he did not commit, Mr. Ishikawa was released on Parole in December 1994. At his release, he stated, "I will realize a retrial to prove my Innocence". On July 8, 1999, the Tokyo High Court dismissed his second request for a retrial. Mr. Ishikawa has been traveling the country calling for support from people to achieve his goal.
