This is a research organization that is dedicated to promoting education for Buraku liberation. Founded in 1953, the Association promoted the slogan "Let us learn deeply from the reality of discrimination, improve our quality of life and develop educational practices that assure a better future for our children". More than 20,000 people gather together each year for their annual convention.
